Copper End Table | Creating Character

Another benefit of copper furniture is the ease of cleaning. Generally, the copper end table you purchase will need nothing more than to be periodically dusted with a clean, soft cloth. If you want a nice shiny finish, you can use a furniture polish to finish off the dusting job. 

Make sure to take some care with your copper end table. You should not set drinking glasses or hot plates directly on the surface. Instead, use a coaster, placemat or trivet to keep these items from having a negative effect on the copper surface. Also, other metals on the copper surface can have an effect on the finish. Leaving a steel candleholder, picture frames, or any other metal piece of furniture or accents on the surface too long can discolor the copper.  Ferrous pottery pieces may also have a discoloring effect on the finish of your copper end table.
